CUSTOMS
I created the "Midnight in Moscow" illustration thinking about the Russian winter wonderland. I loved the colorful St. Basil Cathedral, the Kremlin Towers, the Museum of Cosmonautics, and the majestic Lomonosov University.
I remember I used to watch the Russian ballet as a child, so I incorporated in the illustration the Bolshoi Theater and a gracious ballerina. The front row depicts the huge commercial center "Gum" with the joyful ice-skating rink that takes place in front of it every winter.
